Panini's quality management process has identified and adjusted how company activities, processes and products can impact on environment. As a result of this analysis, Panini defined critical evaluation standards for these activities.
Panini put in place a strategic plan to reduce internal consumptions (water, electricity, paper, consumables), contributing to environmental protection. The company’s environmental strategy aims to obtain sustainable consumption during daily activities, fully respecting environmental and natural resources. To do so, Panini proposes to share a green corporate culture among both its employees and third parties, such as suppliers and transportation companies.
Effective integrated waste handling is based on accurate differentiation, from collecting to final disposal phase. For this reason, recycling centers have been positioned in adequately equipped spaces internally to allow the Panini team to collect recyclable waste. Recycling centers significantly contribute to waste separation and guarantee an effective waste treatment.
Special containers have been set up to collect and separate woods (pallets, cases, packaging, furnishings, planks, girders), paper and cardboard, glass, metals, tin and aluminum, plastic, lubricating oils, accumulators and batteries, printer cartridges, neon, paints, solvents, diluents, spray. The different materials are then managed following the appropriate recycling procedures.
